Belize Weather: Fair weather continues

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts sunny skies today and clear to partly cloudy skies tonight. This afternoon, little or no rainfall is expected apart from isolated thunderstorms developing over the Maya Mountains.

High temperatures reach 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 91 degrees in inland areas and 78 degrees in the hills. Low temperatures tonight range from 76 degrees along the coast to 67 degrees inland and 64 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly to southeasterly at 10 to 20 knots; sea state is light chop to choppy.

Tides will be low at 9:33 this morning and 9:26 this evening and high at 3:41 this afternoon. The sun sets at 5:20 this evening, rising at a quarter past six on Friday morning.

The day starts out mainly fair on Friday with isolated showers developing primarily over the north; then a few showers and isolated thunderstorms in the north-central coastal areas at night with isolated activity elsewhere.
