International News: Mexican President asks Bad Bunny for free concert to make up for fake ticket scandal

Posted: Thursday, December 15, 2022. 4:09 pm CST.

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Mexican President, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador has publicly requested that Bad Bunny do a free concert in Mexico City to make up for the fake ticket scandal, Latin Post reports.

Thousands of people in the City were disappointed after being left outside Bad Bunny’s sold out event on Friday.

The Mexican President says he cannot commit any money but offered the stage, lights and sound system for the performance.

He says that he hopes the artist can perform for free since he feels the solidarity of his fans.

In addition, the Mexican President says that he was very emotional to see so many young people sad because of the fraud.

Due to the presence of fake tickets, many legitimate ticketholders were turned away at the door for the concert.

“I ask Bad Bunny, I know he is overworked and tired because he works a lot, but I ask him to consider the possibility of coming to Mexico, to the Zócalo… Hopefully he comes,” Lopez Obrador said.
