Three men injured during afternoon shooting in Belize City

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Three men were shot on the south side of Belize City this afternoon.

Reports are that shots rang out just before 2:00 p.m. in the Gungulung area. The three men who were hit while sitting inside a vehicle were identified as 61-year-old Kingsley Morrison, 25-year-old Chris Welch, and 25-year-old Ullide Allen.

The three men were taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Police recovered 13 expended shells from the scene as part of an ongoing investigation.
