Belize Weather: Mainly fair heading into weekend

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts generally fair weather. Skies will be mostly sunny with only the chance of isolated showers and partly cloudy skies tonight.

High temperatures peak at 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 90 degrees inland and 78 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 79 degrees along the coast, 70 degrees inland and 66 degrees in the hills.

Winds will be easterly to southeasterly at five to 15 knots. Sea conditions will be light chop.

Tides are low at 10:17 this morning and 10:49 this evening and high at 4:25 this afternoon. The sun sets at 5:21 this evening and rises at a quarter past six Saturday morning.

Skies will be partly cloudy on Saturday with isolated showers or thunderstorms mainly over the north before increasing along the coast at night.
