2022 FIFA World Cup: France, Argentina still tied 2-2 after first half of extra time

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The World Cup Final between France and Argentina are still tied 2-2 after the first half of extra time. Argentina were closer to getting a goal in the first 15 minutes.

France tied the match 2-2 after being down 2-0 on two Kylian Mbappé goals in the 81^st and 82^nd minutes forcing the game’s elongation.

The substitutions produced the desired results for France and not so for Argentina.

Argentina had scored twice in the first half. The first from a penalty kick by Lionel Messi in the 23^rd minute and the second by Angel Di Maria in the 36^th.
