Belize Weather: Sprinkled showers on otherwise fine day

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts sunny skies today with cloudy intervals. Showers will be scattered across the country this morning, becoming isolated this afternoon and tonight except over the south.

High temperatures peak at 85 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 88 degrees inland and 76 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 77 degrees along the coast, 68 degrees inland and 64 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly at five to 15 knots; sea state is light chop.

Tides will be low at 11:42 this morning and high at a quarter to six this evening. The sun sets at 5:21 this evening and rises at 6:16 Monday morning.

On Monday skies will be partly cloudy with a few showers developing over the south in the early morning, isolated activity elsewhere.
