Families of Valley of Peace get Land titles!

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On Saturday, December 17, 2022, Prime Minister John Briceño, Cayo South Area Representative, Julius Espat and Deputy Prime Minister, Cordel Hyde joined efforts in Cayo South to assist Belizeans with land titles.

Several families in Valley of Peace received their long-awaited land titles.

“Our gathering with our people of Cayo South in the village of Valley of Peace was especially meaningful today as I met up with Hon. Julius Espat Area Representative and Deputy Prime Minister Hon. Cordel Hyde to present land certificates to the people of the area.

Always a good day when we meet our people, hear their concerns and respond to their needs,” the Prime Minister said.

The Prime Minister said that he remains committed to helping Belizeans gain access to land that will allow them to secure their families and their own development.
