Young woman stabbed in the back during bar fight in Dangriga

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A young woman was stabbed in the back during a brawl that broke out at a bar in Dangriga on Friday night.

Eighteen-year-old Eden Nunez was reportedly socializing with family members when her relatives got into an altercation with some other patrons at the bar. A brawl erupted around 1:30 a.m. in the establishment and Nunez was stabbed to the lower back.

She was transported to the Southern Regional Hospital where she was admitted in stable condition.

Police have detained one person in connection with the incident.
