Woman charged for damaging washing machine belonging to her common-law husband

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A Belize City woman is out on bail after being charged for damaging a washing machine belonging to her common-law husband.

Twenty-six-year-old Carmencita Aldana appeared in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court charged with a single count of damage to property in relation to the washing machine which is valued at $800.

Aldana pleaded not guilty to the charge and was granted bail in the sum of $1,000 plus one surety of the same amount which she was able to meet.

Aldana is due back in court on January 24, 2023.
