Belize Weather: Fair weather prevailing but showers in forecast

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Generally fair weather is prevailing according to the National Meteorological Service. Skies today will be sunny with cloudy spells and isolated showers. Tonight, skies will be cloudy at times with a few showers, mainly along the coast.

High temperatures are 84 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 88 degrees inland and 76 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 76 degrees along the coast; 68 degrees inland and 64 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly at five to ten knots; sea state is slight.

Tides will be high at exactly 9 a.m. and at 7:53 p.m. this evening and low at 1:49 this afternoon. The sun sets at 5:23 this evening to conclude the shortest day of the year, rising at 6:18 Thursday morning.

Thursday morning sees a few showers countrywide, decreasing to isolated activity by afternoon and nightfall.
