Belize Weather: Sunny day dotted by showers

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts sunny skies with a few cloudy spells and brief morning showers, becoming isolated by afternoon. Tonight, skies will be partly cloudy to clear with only isolated shower activity.

High temperatures reach 85 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 88 degrees over inland areas and 78 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 75 degrees along the coast; 68 degrees inland and 64 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly to northeasterly at five to ten knots; sea state is light chop.

Tides will be high at 9:50 this morning and 8:42 this evening and low at 2:33 this afternoon. Sunset is at 5:23 this evening and sunrise on Friday at 6:18.

Expect cloudy skies at times on Friday and a few showers and isolated thunderstorms over most areas.
