International News: Sinkhole in Peru swallows 25 students dancing at graduation party

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On December 17, 2022, a sinkhole in Peru swallowed 25 teen students that were dancing at a graduation party, Latin Post reports.

The students were dancing together when the concrete dance floor collapsed.

The students fell to a depth of between 6 and 7 feet deep.

A ladder was placed into the hole to assist the students to get out of the hole.

The teenagers were taken for medical treatment for minor injuries.

Footage of the incident went viral on TikTok and garnered more than 4.2 million views.
