Prime Minister’s brother appointed as new Ambassador to the Holy See

By Benjamin Flowers: Prime Minister John Briceño has congratulated his brother His Excellency Jaime Briceño on his appointment as Belize’s new Ambassador to the Holy See.

The Prime Minister took to his official social media pages today to offer his congratulations and offer his well wishes for the new appointment.

“Belize’s diplomatic representations are critical to development and ensuring Belize’s presence and promotion internationally… to represent and assist our people as well as for tourism and investment promotions coupled with strengthening our global positive impact and influence,” the Prime Minister said.

H.E. Briceño traveled this week to the Holy See to present his credentials to His Holiness Pope Francis.
