Taiwan donates refurbished Garbage compactor to San Ignacio and Santa Elena Town Council

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On December 22, 2022, Taiwan’s Ambassador to Belize, David Kuan-Chou Chien handed over a refurbished Garbage Compactor to the San Ignacio and Santa Elena Town Council.

Mayor of the Twin Towns, Earl Trapp and Councilors received the donation.

“We believe the garbage compactor will help better maintain the cleanness and beauty of the Twin Towns, as well as enhance the environmental sustainability of this blessed country,” the Taiwan Embassy in Belize said.

“As a trustworthy ally of Belize, the Embassy of Taiwan will continuously work with the Government of Belize to advance the welfare of Belizean people,” the Taiwan Embassy added.

The Taiwan Embassy also extended Seasons greetings to all Belizeans.
