Taiwan Embassy assists Mopan Technical High School with classroom repairs

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On December 22, 2022, Taiwan’s Ambassador to Belize, David Kuan-Chou Chien met the Principal of Mopan Technical High School, Katie Jones in Benque Viejo Town.

The Ambassador and Principal Jones discussed ways to continuously promote the Mandarin Program for Belizean people.

“The Embassy is also delighted to sponsor Mopan Technical High School in repairing its classrooms and related teaching facilities. We hope this little support could help renovate the campus, as well as improve the teaching and learning environment for the school staff and students,” the Taiwan Embassy in Belize said.

The Taiwan Embassy in Belize says that it will keep working tirelessly with the Government of Belize to enhance the educational capacity in Belize.
