Belize Weather: Cold front lingers

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts continuing cloudy and cool weather today.

A few showers or light rain is expected mainly offshore and along parts of the coast this morning. Tonight, skies remain variably cloudy and cool with light rain and a few showers offshore and over the south.

High temperatures are 74 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 72 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills. Tonight they will fall to 66 degrees along the coast, 60 degrees inland and 58 degrees in the hills.

Winds are northwesterly at 10 to 20 knots and gusty, sea state is rough and a small craft warning remains in effect for gusty winds and rough seas.

Tides will be high at 12:56 this afternoon then low at 5:57 this evening. The sun sets at 5:25 this evening and rises at 6:20 Tuesday morning.

Similar weather can be expected on Tuesday.
