Belize City resident Akeem Augustine reported missing

By Benjamin Flowers: Police are asking the public to assist in locating 27-year-old Akeem Augustine.

Augustine was reported missing on Monday by his common-law wife. He is described as being of Garifuna descent with a dark complexion, brown eyes, a bald head with a mustache and beard, and standing around 5 feet 6 inches tall.

He was last seen wearing a red t-shirt, black, red, and white 3/4 pants, and black slippers.

His family said that he was last heard from around 5:21 p.m. on Monday, via text message. He had video-called his common-law wife minutes prior, explaining that he was in the company of Steve Crawford in the Jane Usher Area, Belize City. He had reportedly left home to get food from Brandon Smith also known as “Battery.”

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is urged to report it by calling 911, 922, or the nearest police station.
