Belize Weather: Cool temperatures continue but fair weather otherwise

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Skies remain variably cloudy and cool as a result of the continuing cold front. Rainfall is restricted to light to moderate amounts offshore and over some coastal areas.

High temperatures peak at 75 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 79 degrees in inland areas and 68 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 70 degrees along the coast, 66 degrees inland and 62 degrees in the hills.

Winds are northerly to northwesterly at 10 to 20 knots; sea state is moderate to rough. A small craft caution is in effect for occasionally gusty winds and locally rough seas.

Tides are low at 7:40 this morning and 7:02 this evening and high at 1:44 this afternoon. The sun sets at 5:26 this evening and rises at 6:21 on Wednesday morning.

Wednesday sees cloudy skies at times with periods of light to moderate rain and a few showers over coastal areas on Wednesday, gradually decreasing on Wednesday night.
