Belize Weather: Temperatures warm up as Belize shrugs off last of cold front

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Moist and somewhat cool conditions prevail according to the National Meteorological Service. Skies today will be cloudy and tonight cloudy at times with light rain and a few showers mainly over coastal and northern areas, continuing in the latter tonight.

High temperatures peak at 78 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 82 degrees over inland areas and 74 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 74 degrees along the coast, 70 degrees inland and 64 degrees in the hills.

Winds are northerly to northeasterly at 10 to 20 knots and gusty; sea state is moderate to rough and a small craft caution continues for gusty winds and occasionally rough seas.

Tides will be low at 8:29 this morning and 8:18 this evening and high at 2:34 this afternoon. The sun sets at 5:27 this evening and rises at 6:21 Thursday morning.

Skies revert to partly cloudy on Thursday with only isolated showers.
