International News: Travelers stranded by Southwest’s ‘holiday meltdown’ can’t rebook until December 31st

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Travelers who are stranded in U.S. airports due to a ‘holiday meltdown’ by Southwest Airlines cannot rebook until December 31, 2022, Business Insider reports.

Southwest Airlines canceled 2,890 flights and delayed 673 flights after being impacted by Winter Storm Elliott.

An official from the company said that customers can’t rebook their flights until after December 31.

Meanwhile, other airlines have largely recovered from the holiday winter storm, passengers say that their flights with Southwest have been canceled and canceled.
