Ministry of Infrastructure Development hands over house to Shavonne Myles in Freetown Division in Belize City

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH) handed over a modular home to Shavonne Myles in the Freetown Division in Belize City.

“At the MIDH, we know that one family that didn’t feel the cold this Christmas was that of Ms. Shavonne Myles,” the MIDH said.

“She received the keys to her new home in Freetown and let us know that no cold front could affect the joy in her heart. God’s blessings on you and your family Shavonne. We wish you every happiness today and always.”

“One of our teams is in Lord’s Bank working on streets in that community,” the MIDH said.

MIDH Minister Julius Espat was joined at the handing over by Minister of Education and Freetown Area Representative Francis Fonseca and Belize City Mayor Bernard Wagner.

Over the last couple of weeks, the MIDH has been in the process of handing over starter homes in different towns and villages throughout the country, including the Freetown Division in Belize City.
