Finance and Economic Development Committee of the National Assembly to discuss several Bills in January

By Benjamin Flowers: The public has been invited to the upcoming debate of the National Assembly’s Finance and Economic Development Committee.

A notice from the Office of the Clerk of the National Assembly said that the debate will be held on Monday, January 9 at the National Assembly building in Belmopan, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

The committee will be discussing the Financial Services Commission bill, 2022; the Credit Reporting bill, 2022; and the Fiscal Incentives bill, 2022.

“Any persons or interested bodies wishing to give their views and/or recommendation on the bills are invited to do so either in person at the meeting, or in writing to the clerk of the national assembly no later than by Friday, 6th January 2023,” the notice said.

The public is also advised that a copy of each of the bills can be found at the National Assembly’s website: www.nationalassembly.gov.bz.
