San Pedro woman arrested for stabbing common-law husband

By Benjamin Flowers: A San Pedro woman has been arrested for stabbing her common-law husband.

On Wednesday, police officially arrested and charged San Pedrito area resident 39-year-old Taletha Cruickshank for the crimes of attempted murder, use of deadly means of harm, and grievous harm against Omar Nal.

Reports are that the couple were at their home on Monday 26 December, speaking with another woman, when that woman asked for a glass of water. Cruickshank reportedly got up to get the water but when she came back she stabbed Nal in the left shoulder.

He was taken to the San Pedro Polyclinic before being transferred over to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH).
