Belize Weather: Mainly fair weather prevails

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Fair weather prevails on the first day of 2023 according to the National Meteorological Service.

Skies will be mostly sunny today and partly cloudy tonight. Light isolated showers will develop, continuing into tonight with a few more over southern and some coastal areas after midnight.

High temperatures reach 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 90 degrees over inland areas and 76 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 78 degrees along the coast, 70 degrees inland and 64 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly to southeasterly at five to 15 knots. Sea state is light chop.

Tides will be low at 11:34 this morning and high at 5:56 this evening. The sun sets at 5:29 this evening and rises at 6:23 Monday morning.

Weather continues mainly fair on Monday with only isolated showers.
