Victim in Cotton Tree double stabbing manages to stab his attacker

By Benjamin Flowers: One of the victims from a double stabbing in Cotton Tree Village managed to wrestle the knife away from his attacker and stabbed him in return.

Police say that 19-year-old Erik Gutierrez and 21-year-old Edgar Gutierrez were coming from socializing at Blue Star Bar when they were attacked and stabbed by Raul Antonio Samosa. Erik received one stab wound to the chest and another to the right hand, while Edgar received a total of five stab wounds: two to the upper left shoulder, two to the right elbow, and one to the right side of the mouth.

During the incident, Edgar managed to take the knife from Samosa and stab him twice to the abdomen.

All three men are receiving treatment at the Western Regional Hospital where they are all listed in stable condition.
