Tionne Pagoada says he and his brother did not kill Jbria Michelle Bowens

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Tionne Pagoada, brother of Delson Pagoada who was charged with the murder of American tourist Jbria Michelle Bowens, says he and his brother Delson Pagoada, had nothing to do with the incident.

After police arrested and charged Delson Pagoada with murder, Tionne, who escaped police custody, took to social media with a video giving his version of the events that transpired the night Bowens was fatally shot near Central Park in San Pedro Town.

Pagoada said that he was playing video games with his brother all afternoon and they went to work on a boat engine after 5 p.m. because they had a dive the following morning.

He claims that he was still working on the boat after 9:00 p.m. when he got a call from his mother that a tourist had been shot, and that police came to their home after 11:00 p.m. accusing them of being involved.

Pagoada maintains that he and his brother are innocent, and stressed that police searched his entire home looking for guns but found nothing.

Bowens, a nursing student from New Orleans was visiting Belize with her family and was sitting on the back of a golf cart when she was shot in the back around 9:30 p.m.

Thirty-three-уеаr-old Luсіо Ѕаlаzаr was also arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
