Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing upgrades Macaw Bank Road to assist Cayo farmers

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH) is upgrading the Macaw Bank Road in the Cayo District to facilitate farmers.

“How many of you know where the Macaw Bank Road is? We’d bet, not many,” the MIDH said in a social media post on Wednesday.

“This road is a critical network for farmers in the Cayo District, and because of weather and neglect, it had become hazardous to maneuver [on it]. It’s good to go now … packed with solid material and widened so our farmers can move in safety.”
