Police believe Elmer Nah also responsible for Michael Williams’ murder

By Breaking Belize News Staff: While Police Corporal Elmer Nah was arraigned today for the murder of brothers Jon and David Ramnarace, police believe that he may be responsible for another murder that happened in the same area days before.

Commissioner of Police Chester Williams, said today that the department is looking at Nah as being the person responsible for the murder of Michael Willaims on December 29, 2022.

“We believe that they are connected, yes, that the same perpetrator did both of them,” Williams said.

He added that police have taken the expended shells found at the crime scenes and sent them to the National Forensic Science Service for testing, to determine if the bullets were from a police-issued firearm.

Williams stressed that Nah does not have a firearms license, as his license was revoked immediately after Nah was named as a suspect involved with the landing of a drug plane into Belize back in 2021.

Michael Williams was fatally shot in his home in the Maya Mopan area of Belmopan last Thursday. The gunman also shot at twо nеаrbу wіtnеѕѕеѕ, Nеlѕоn Ѕоѕа аnd Ѕеlvіn Тесk.

No charges have been filed in respect to this incident as yet.
