San Pedro woman who stabbed man in his sleep remanded to prison

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A San Pedro resident charged for stabbing a man in his sleep has been remanded to the Belize Central Prison.

Thirty-nine-year-old Talitha Cruickshank was arraigned in the San Pedro Magistrate’s Court, answering to charges of attempted murder, use of deadly means of harm, and grievous harm upon 32-year-old Omar Nal.

She is accused of barging into Nal’s home with a six-inch kitchen knife and stabbing him in the back.

Cruickshank is scheduled to return to court in February.

Reports are that Cruickshank and Nal had a previous disagreement where he had to forcefully remove her from his home.
