International News: Family miraculously survives crash 250 feet off cliff; father accused of intentionally driving off cliff

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: A 41-year-old father of 2 from California is being accused of intentionally driving off a cliff with his wife and children inside a Tesla, CNN reports.

The vehicle plunged 250 to 300 feet into a rocky area about 20 miles south of San Francisco, California and all occupants miraculously survived the crash.

First responders found all 4 occupants conscious and the 2 children strapped in their car seats.

The family was taken to the hospital for immediate medical attention.

The driver, Dharmesh Patel was detained and is facing charges of attempted murder and child endangerment.

Law enforcement authorities say that they have cause to believe this was “an intentional act”.
