Belize Weather: Fair today, showers later

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Fair weather prevails, generally, according to the National Meteorological Service.

Skies are expected to be sunny with cloudy spells today and isolated showers. Tonight skies will be cloudy at times with an increase in shower activity around the country.

High temperatures peak at 85 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 88 degrees in inland areas and 76 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 74 degrees along the coast, 67 degrees inland and 64 degrees in the hills.

Winds are northeasterly at five to 15 knots; sea state is light chop.

Tides will be high at 10:30 this morning and 9:30 this evening and low at 3:17 this afternoon. The sun will set at 5:32 this evening and rise Saturday morning at 6:24.

Expect cloudy spells and a few showers countrywide on Saturday.
