Salesman fined for riding unlicensed motorbike

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A Belize City salesman was fined this week for riding around on an unlicensed motorcycle.

Twenty-two-year-old Oscar Nunez appeared in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court on Thursday charged with a single count of drove unlicensed motor vehicle.

Nunez pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined $50 plus $5 cost of court which he must pay by February 28 or he will face two weeks in prison for default.

Police say he was found on Freetown Road on December 21 on a white motorcycle with an expired license.
