Belize Canoe Association holds first 2023 race on Sunday, January 15, from Burrell Boom to Manatee Lookout

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Belize Canoe Association is holding its first race of 2023 on Sunday, January 15.

The first race of the year starts at Henderson’s Bank in Burrell Boom and heads to Manatee Lookout in Ladyville at 10:00 am.

The BCA said the race will have seven categories, namely Men’s, Women’s, Mixed, Masters, Junior, Students (Intramural), and C2.

Registration begins at 9:00 am at Henderson’s Bank.

The entrance fee, which includes lunch for the paddlers, is $100, said the BCA.
