International News: BioNTech creating Cancer vaccine with UK’s help

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Thousands of patients from the United Kingdom will participate in cancer vaccine trials as part of a research project by BioNTech, Latin Post reports.

The pharmaceutical company is the same company responsible for one of the most successful COVID-19 vaccines.

The company struck a deal with the UK for the creation of the vaccine.

About 70 scientists will work together on technology that will use a person’s immune system to fight cancer.

The UK had committed to develop new therapies, including targeted vaccines, and find methods of earlier diagnosis.
