Posted: Sunday, January 8, 2023. 1:18 pm CST.

By Benjamin Flowers: Concerned residents in the Belize District are raising concerns about erosion at Isabella Bank in the Belize River Valley and the dangers it may pose to motorists traveling in the area.

Residents reached out to Breaking Belize News this weekend showing massive erosion from the Belize river eating away at the side of a road in northern Isabella Bank. They are calling for authorities to assess and take steps to address the situation before it causes injury or loss of life.

Those traveling through the area are urged to proceed with caution.
