Ladyville man found with unlicensed firearm

By Benjamin Flowers: Police have detained a Ladyville resident for firearms offenses.

Reports are that officers conducting searches in the village around 11:30 p.m. on Friday, January 6, found 22-year-old Tyrese Gladden with a black .9mm pistol and a magazine containing 14 live .9mm rounds.

Gladden has since been charged for keeping a firearm without a gun license and keeping ammunition without a gun license. Sources tell Breaking Belize News that Gladden was out on bail relating to a charge of aggravated assault at the time of his arrest.
