By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH) said it has been working on beautifying roundabouts and roadsides, including the Hattieville Roundabout in the Belize District.
“We’ve got to keep giving thanks for our teams on the ground,” the MIDH said in recognizing its workers.
“This crew has the Hattieville roundabout looking amazing, and while the aesthetics is one thing, well maintained roundabouts and roadsides allow for increased visibility and safety for motorists.”
The Hattieville Roundabout connects the George Price Highway with the Burrell Boom Road which in turn connects with the Philip Goldson Highway. The area is one of the most trafficked around the country as everyone travelling on the main highways from the Northern half of Belize heading South must pass through Hattieville. The opposite is also true.
