Interdicted police officer Kenny Ferguson faces more criminal charges

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Police Constable 33-year-old Kenny Ferguson was already on interdiction due to a criminal charge, when he was arraigned in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court yesterday facing two more charges.

Ferguson was charged with one count of aggravated assault and one count of harm upon the victim Marciel Bradley.

He pleaded not guilty to both counts and was offered bail in the sum of $1,500 plus one surety of the same, which he was able to meet. His bail came with the condition that he not have any contact with the victim while the matter is before the court. Ferguson is due back in court on February 13.

Ferguson is accused of attacking Bradley with a pint bottle. When asked the nature of his relationship to the victim, Ferguson said that Bradley is his mother-in-law’s boyfriend. In early 2022 Ferguson was charged for assaulting his partner during a domestic dispute.
