Belize Weather: Mix of sunshine and showers continues

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts sunny skies today with cloudy intervals and partly cloudy skies tonight, becoming cloudy at times. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will develop mainly along the coast today, isolated elsewhere, and in the south tonight.

High temperatures peak at 84 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 87 degrees inland and 74 degrees in the hills. Tonight, temperatures fall to 74 degrees along the coast, 68 degrees inland and 62 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly to northeasterly at five to 15 knots; sea state is light chop.

Tides will be high at 1:12 this afternoon then low at 6:46 this evening. The sun sets at 5:35 this evening and rises at 6:25 Thursday morning.

Thursday sees fairer weather with isolated showers except in the south late at night and early morning. Skies will be cloudy in spells.
