BREAKING: Student of Belize City charged for murder of Emert Flowers

By Aaron Humes: 18-year-old Adrian Hernandez of Berkeley Street, Belize City, has been charged for the murder of Emert Reginald Flowers on December 27, 2022 on Racecourse Street.

One assailant entered the residence of Flowers that night while he was speaking to a friend and shot both of them; Flowers died of his injuries on the spot while the other man recovered after being attended to in hospital.

Police linked the murder to the disappearance of Flowers’ son Kyle Latchman, who remains missing. It was suggested that there was an internal dispute in the George Street Gang, of which Latchman is alleged to be a part, that led to persons in that organization going after Latchman, and attacking Flowers in his stead.
