Common law wife of Ronlee Petillo charged with stealing from the woman he was accused of assaulting

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Thirty-year-old Kishanna Bodden, the common-law wife of Ronlee Petillo who is currently imprisoned on charges of sexual assault, was charged this week for stealing money from the woman Petillo was accused of assaulting.

Bodden was arraigned in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court on Monday, charged with a single count of theft with respect to a $20 bill stolen from the complainant.

She pleaded not guilty and was granted bail in the sum of $600 plus one surety of the same, which she was able to meet.

Bodden is due back in court on March 9.

Petillo was remanded to the Belize Central Prison on December 30, 2022, on one count of rape and one count of aggravated assault.
