Nohoch Cheen, ATM and Barton Creek Reserves open; Institute of Archeology monitoring river conditions

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, the Institute of Archeology (IA) and the National Institute of Culture and History (NICH) informed that the Nohoch Cheen, ATM and Barton Creek Reserves are open for visitation.

All other archaeological reserves are also open for visitation.

The IA/NICH said that they will continue to monitor river conditions and provide necessary updates.

Visitors are urged to exercise caution at all times and be aware of weather conditions and the possibility of flash flooding.
