International News: Over 100 reported missing from Mexican town following capture of Chapo’s son

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Residents of Jesus Maria in the state of Sinaloa, Mexico say that 140 people are missing following last Thursday’s arrest of El Chapo’s son, Ovidio Guzman, Fox reports.

According to reports, 140 people have disappeared amidst violent and deadly clashes between law enforcement authorities and the Sinaloa cartel.

Over 200 protesters in trucks gathered in front of government offices on Monday demanding answers.

Residents claimed that before the operation to capture Guzman, the town’s electricity, water supply and telecommunications were cut off by the military.
