Belize Livestock Producers Association (BLPA) launches membership drive

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Just ahead of its 44^th Annual General Meeting (AGM) in February, the Belize Livestock Producers Association (BLPA) has launched a membership drive to increase its numbers.

The BLPA said that “in an effort to be more pro-active” the BLPA has decided to register all livestock farmers. THE BLPA hopes to increase its membership before the AGM set for February 25.

At the same time, the BLPA said that only Livestock farmers registered up to February 15 will be allowed to vote at the AGM.

The BLPA said that livestock farmers who want to register may do so in every district through the Authorized Local Agents (ALA). (You may find the list below.)

“Our aim is to have a smooth, efficient and democratic AGM Elections 2023,” the BLPA said.
