By Breaking Belize News Staff: Fair weather in the daytime today will be succeeded by a cold front crossing the country tonight, according to the National Meteorological Service.
Skies will be sunny with cloudy spells and a few showers and isolated thunderstorms mostly inland and over the south this afternoon. Tonight, skies will be cloudy with showers, light rain and isolated thunderstorms, mostly over the coast and offshore.
High temperatures for most of the country today peak at 85 degrees Fahrenheit, with the hills seeing a high of 78. It will be 68 degrees along the coast tonight, 64 degrees inland and 60 degrees in the hills.
Winds start from the north to northeast at five to ten knots, becoming northerly at 10 to 20 knots and gusty. Sea state remains light chop.
Tides are high at 2:21 this afternoon then low at 8:48 this evening. The sun sets at 5:37 this evening and rises at 6:25 Saturday morning.
Saturday brings variably cloudy skies, windy and cool conditions with little to no rain.
