Ministry of Infrastructure Development is upgrading rural roads in Trio, Toledo District

By Ruben Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH) is working on upgrading Toledo rural roads.

“One of our teams was dispatched to Trio in the South to deal with the upgrading of a badly deteriorated road,” the MIDH said.

“It is literally impossible for our crews to be everywhere at once, but once we are made aware of a situation which impacts the movement of our people, we will always act.”

Currently the MIDH is also working in Northern Belize upgrading the sugar access roads. Today the MIDH reported that it was working in Libertad and Douglas Rio Hondo.
