Ministry of Infrastructure Development keeps working on sugar roads

By Ruben Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH) is continuing to upgrade sugar roads in Northern Belize.

“This is one of our teams ensuring that the Libertad sugar road is in good condition for our farmers,” the MIDH said.

“The work they do is hard enough, so anything we can do to make their lives easier is always a pleasure.”

The MIDH made another social media post saying they were also working in Douglas Rio Hondo.

“We’re in Douglas in the Orange Walk District this morning, working on the road for our canefarmers. We’ll keep doing this throughout the crop season because we know how important this industry is to the country,” the MIDH said.
