By Aaron Humes: Authorities will further investigate the sudden death of 24-year-old Clarissa Manzanero, who died this morning after 3 a.m. at the San Ignacio Community Hospital.
Manzanero was born with epilepsy and cerebral palsy.
According to her mother, Floridalia Manzanero, she put her daughter to sleep on Friday night after 7:30 with a bottle of milk.
Around 3 a.m. Floridalia said she was awakened by a scream she recognized as that of her daughter and found her shaking. She tried to get a cab and get her to the hospital but Clarissa died on shortly thereafter.
Police report no sign of bodily injury but have opened an investigation and await the result of a post-mortem examination.
