Driver allegedly sleeping at the wheel leads to rear-ending of vehicles on George Price Highway

By Aaron Humes: A driver will have to pay for allegedly falling asleep at the wheel after a lengthy journey and rear-ending one vehicle, which then hit another according to Police.

Joeney Mesh of Hillview Area, San Ignacio Town, had just dropped off a co-worker after returning from Placencia and was going through Santa Elena Town when he lost control of his Dodge Neon.

The Neon crashed into a parked Kia Sportage, which was pushed forward into a parked green Toyota van. Both vehicles sustained damages.

The matter is being settled and Police asked for a formal report to begin investigations.
