Taiwan Ambassador and Taiwanese community leaders celebrate Lunar New Year

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, Taiwan’s Ambassador to Belize, David Kuan-Chou Chien joined the leaders of the Belize Chinese Association (BCA) to celebrate the Lunar New Year.

Leaders of the Taiwanese community in Belize include BCA President Johnston Ou, Honorary President Dr. Lim Lo, Honorary President Lee Mark Chang, Honorary President Edmund Kwan, Vice President Alex Chang, Vice President Robert Chen, Secretary General Eric Chang, and Jason Chang.

Ambassador Chien extended appreciation to the leaders for their efforts to further strengthen Taiwan-Belize relations.

The Ambassador also extended best wishes to the BCA in the coming Lunar New Year.

“The Embassy looks forward to a successful and wonderful new year for all our friends in BCA and Taiwanese communities in Belize,” the Taiwan Embassy in Belize said.
